As in the previous two volumes the art in this book is beautiful and makes reading it a pleasure. The story has me fully hooked by this point as there is so much that I want to find out more about.
There are so many more fun scenes with Carsein in this volume that I enjoyed, especially the one with the tea. I'm not fussed by Allendis's return though, although I'm almost glad that he thinks she is lying when she tells him the truth about what has happened to her, as I worry what he'd do with that knowledge if he did believe it.
It's really interesting to see the Prince's reaction to Aristia, especially as he's noticed that she fears him and how that is influencing his view of her. I can't wait to see how things change between them in this timeline. Especially if Aristia becomes the family heir rather than his bride or consort.
There is so much going on with all of the characters in this series and it makes me really keen to read more and find out what happens next.
