I NEED THE 4TH BOOK!

great story, really keeps you invested, it was the ending that felt a little unsatisfying. Yes, I realize
cliffhangers are meant to be unsatisfying but what Estrella did just felt...I don't know, unnecessary?

It bothered me how quickly Estrella caved into being Mabs servant at the end. Through the entire story she's rebelled and grew stronger just for it to end with her just giving up. It didnt make sense that she did it because she couldnt stand to be without him if he died, when she wouldn't have lived without him anyway because of the blood oath.

can't wait until the 4th book, I have so many questions.

I really liked it but I felt like it could’ve progressed more. We went through all of that in the book and it's like the ending took it back to square one.

Harper L. Woods has a way about her writing that makes me go through all my emotions. I can be happy and laughing and the next page I’m sad and angry for the characters choices  to. I remember when I picked up the first book of the series and almost dropped it before it really started to get good. It has the perfect blend of plot and spice. (However if spice is not your thing I recommend skipping this book.) This book is more filler to really meet Mabs character and see how she rules so the reader is able to create a feeling towards her and how she continues to try a wedge between Estrella and Caldris. The series tends to be a bit repetitive but I’m overall glad I kept going and it'll be a bittersweet to see how it all comes to an end.

Loved the book - however, the spelling, grammar, and editing were atrocious. There were some places I had to re-read several times to figure out what was meant.

Meh. Very slow,  plot becoming a bit jumbled and starting to lose momentum, poor/annoying decision-making by the MCs. The series skirts a fine line of creepiness when it comes to the relationship of the FMC/MMC, and I thought we were finally approaching a shift in the power dynamic towards the FMC, but not quite.
