I absolutely loved this! Finished in 1 sitting!
I like the POV writing style, the characters and the storyline. McManus writes amazing YA mysteries and always have me on edge. After finishing this so quickly I am racing to get the final of this series and her other books.
All the characters are great and I really liked Maeve. I like how we also were kept in check with the original 4 as well.
The mystery of this book was great and I was always trying to predict what would happen next.

I thought the sequel was better than the predecessor. It was a little more engaging and the mystery was a bit more difficult to suss out. I enjoyed it.

An enjoyable, easy read that keeps you interested in the story. Not a direct sequel of the first one, but new and interesting characters with ties to the original Bayview Four. I appreciated that it wasn't all the same characters, but they all seemed to be in some way linked to the main characters from the first novel. Easy to read, but hard to put down. I found myself not wanting to stop reading, I needed to know what was next and how it was going to end.

I guess this author just isn't for me. I didn't like the plot, it was so boring and predictable for me. I didn't like the characters. I couldn't connect or relate with any of them and honestly, I just failed to remember them. And I didn't like the writing style at all. The only thing I liked was the white cover with the shiny letters and sprayed edges.
