➽ Originally I gave this 4 stars, but with time this is more of a 3-star read! This manga follows Lizel, a noble who ends up in a world that parallels his own, but is different. I loved the premise of being stranded in a different world and how Lizel was trying to find a way to navigate it by hiring Gill, an experienced adventurer. The main story is about Lizel trying to become an adventurer as well and using his skills to solve quests!
➽ I liked the idea of this, but the execution was a bit lacking. I found Lizel and his dynamic with Gill very interesting, but their interactions remained shallow. Lizel’s character felt all over the place and it didn’t help that everyone immediately fell in love with him for no reason. There was a lot going on in this volume, but it didn’t feel like Lizel had an overarching goal … you know, like trying to find a way back to his world? He was weirdly calm about being stuck in a strange world.
Moderate: Animal death, Violence, and Blood
