I found myself comparing this book to The Whisper Man and that’s why I docked one star. Compared to The Whisper Man, I didn’t find myself needing to finish this book quickly and eager to finish the story. Not until about the last 70 pages or so was I really invested. On its own however, I was very pleased. The story ended perfectly with all loose ends tied up and me not having any further questions. I do want to read more of this Author and will continue to read his work!

Four friends, lucid dreaming, a cult like behavior, & a murder of a fellow friend. Now years later and several copy cat murders later. Paul one of the 4 friends returns home for his mother's last days. But things are not the same. They are not right. There are even more secrets now then there were before he left. And even more murders.

This was the most boring “thriller” I’ve ever read.

I really wanted to like this book. The plot was so intriguing, but the multiple POV’s and timelines were hard to follow. I really wasn’t connected to much of the middle of the storyline at all…. I honestly just wanted to figure out what happened and how but it took a really long time to get there.
