1.5/5 or 2/5.
It started good and then it kept getting worse and worse. Noah was such a frustrating character and Chase wasn't much better. And that ending was so over the top and didn't make much sense.
Spoiler Since when do people know who their donor were for a transplant or vice versa ? Maybe the legislation is different between the US and France idk but I found it weird that they would be aware of it.

New to me author. A contemporary mm romance. Great story of success over adversity. I will read this author again.

DNF @ 9%.

Both Chase and Noah are really unlikable. The writing isn't doing it for me either, especially where there have already been a handful of spors where the speaker switches mid-paragraph.

I think this is going to be one of those "it's not the book, it's me" situations as this had everything I should like on paper but it just somehow didn't come together for me.

As I had an ARC I'm ignoring the errors, including the mis-naming of one of the characters as I'm sure they'll be fixed by release.*
But the story flow itself just really felt a bit jumbled and both Chase and Noah seemed to irrationally fly off the handle at times without any clear reason.

Now, having said that, at the heart of this is a lovely love story and a story about family and friends and supporting the ones you love through the hard times and that was done well.

The relationship between the two is also a believable one, both Chase and Noah find strength in the other to help them deal with the trials life throws at them.

Sex between them is also emotionally connected as well as hot and they switch things around with ease in the bedroom, on the couch and in the bath ;)

I liked the setting and the secondary characters and I'm sure this will be a hit for the vast majority of people.

#ARC kindly received from the author in return for an honest and unbiased review.

* Note: The author and I have touched base and this was an unproofed version so the errors will be fixed.

Eh. Was fine. Pretty average with its cheesy and dramatic bits. Easily forgettable. But I liked it enough to finish. So there's that.
