Probably the best, most desirable end to a shoujo manga. I finished this manga in a day - and I loved it.
In the middle I was really REALLY frustrated (because I was rooting for Murama (I don't like his first name much lmao xD) from the beginning), because Suzume was constantly head-over-heels for Satsuki. I didn't hate Satsuki until he showed hostility to Murama. I really liked Yuyuka's character development, and Inukai's extra chapter was so cute!!

What I really enjoyed was the character development in the last few volumes after Suzume is trying to get past Satsuki. I was annoyed at Tsubomi for trying to push Satsuki on. When Satsuki confronted Yuchiki-san I thought that Yuchiki threw the sake bottle at Satsuki!!
Anyway, Suzume proved to be a good protagonist (although in the middle I was face palming 99% of the time at her decisions). I originally thought that Murama's reason for being hostile and embarrassed around girls was something extreme - like rape or abuse or something - but it was minor (which was a WEE bit of a let down for me - because it would have shown MASSIVE amounts of character development if he had been abused, and chose to open up to Suzume about it... But I don't really care about that at the end of it all).

OVERALL: Definitely worth reading - even all the agonizingly annoying parts. It makes the end that much more satisfying and WORTH IT!!!

I'm so happy I read this - and EVER HAPPIER THAT FOR ONCE, MY SHIP IS THE ONE THAT SAILED!!! Bless you Yamamori-san!

This volume was such a good conclusion to the series. In this volume Suzume, Mamura, along with a few friends head to Okinawa for a few days for summer vacation. Suzume confronts her feelings for both Mamura and Mr. Shishio. I'm very happy with her choice.

3.90 - Good
I see you Mamura, I see you; irog irog. It's crazy realistic how everyone is keeping secrets in a nonchalant way. Hahaha, yes Yukichi, talk to that wall! This is a teacher-student relationship done morally right. You're good Mamura, very good. Togyu pulled a fast one; he must like to live life on the edge. A wonderful, fufilling ending.

It's so satisfying to finish a series that even though this finale felt a tad rushed I'm not mad at it.

Wanted a quick shojo read and this was it. Nothing groundbreaking, slightly icky with the teacher, but glad she ended up with Mamura. I think it was a good job of conveying the emotions and feelings of a 15-16 year old girl. Still felt they glossed over her teacher too easily. I kinda liked him as a character, but he really was just a sad man who didn't have much going for him and wanted her to make him feel good. I liked his new relationship, but I can't believe she is okay with his past and didn't at least question why he had a relationship with his 15 year old student. Girl stand up. Anyway the cast was cute and I loved Yuyuka. Wish we could have gotten more of her romance!

I'm really happy with the way this ended and I'm looking forward to the bonus story! I was so nervous about what would happen in the middle, but I think the choices that were made fit the characters and the plot very well. This was cute and I liked the characters. It was a good conclusion.

Listen, this series took me on a roller coaster of thoughts and emotions.

I liked Mamura and Shishio both quite a lot. But I spent a lot of time rooting for Mamura even though, in my head, he was quite clearly the second male lead and therefore wouldn't get the girl. Which is pretty much par for the course when it comes to my taste in shojo manga men.

SO IMAGINE MY SURPRISE THAT IN THIS BOOK SHE TURNS DOWN SHISHIO and his confession because she's decided that Mamura was the one she belongs with because he's been her rock for forever. I was literally so happy I cried. But then I was so sad for Shishio... Because, like, he didn't do anything wrong. He wasn't bad or mean or anything like that (well, except you know, trying to get into a relationship with a minor...) But he took it well.
