Omg, this was my favorite Hathaway! I've loved Beatrix since the first book, she is as charming as all the Hathaways say. In chapter 22 when she expertly handles and charms Christopher's father had me gagged with giggles. I loved it. I loved the pairing as well, Bea handles life, Christopher, animals all with such sincerity, calmness and love. It's just such a joy to read her story and getting to know her. Christopher was very charming too, despite the hurdles head to over come he shone beneath them and eventually triumphed over them. I know they're fictional, but if they weren't I would want to be friends with them and wish them the best, ugh!

4+ STARS for the series
3.5 STARS for this installment

This was easily my favorite series from LK to date. I adored the quirky, larger than life characters. I adored Bea but didn't feel the romantic aspect as much as the previous couples.

The Hathaways have left an impressionable spot on romantic heart.

so heartwarming. i only give it 4 stars instead of 5 because i feel like some parts dragged on too long and could have been cut out for a more impactful read. nevertheless, i ate this uuuuppp.

Utter perfection. I loved Beatrix so much more than I expected to from reading the first four books. Kleypas magic.

The ending was not as overwhelming as I had hoped, but I enjoyed the whole premise immensely.
