Natasha, you are the BAMF to end all BAMFs. Liu's writing is great as always, but Acuna's art steals the show.

I feel like this had potential if only it had time to grow into it.

Strong, powerful & a nail biting story that kept me wanting to read more.

Natasha has been discovered spying on her allies. All hell breaks loose when she's found to have been selling her information to the highest bidder. But all is not as it seems, as we soon discover.

Featuring scenes showing Natasha's intelligence, strength & will to live (and to love) while avoiding making her just a sexy agent, this is definitely a good place to start your Black Widow journey.

“It's not the lenght of a life that matters, just the depth of it. The chances we take. The paths we choose. How we go on after our hearts break. Hearts always break, and so we bend with our hearts, and we sway. But in the end, what matters is that we loved and lived.”

i loved this so much!! natasha is quite easily my favorite female superhero— maybe even /superhero/.

she’s got a dark past and i loved that this volume really digs deep into that.

this kept me on my toes the whole time. i never knew what to expect and i was never disappointed. there were points where i /almost/ got mad but then realized it was just apart of the plot.

i don’t think i could have asked for better character appearances: captain america!bucky, logan howlett, tony stark, elektra, and lady bullseye.

my buckynat loving ass adored every moment the shared (of course, i would have preferred more but i’m not going to get stingy).

overall, i recommend this to anyone who loves natasha or anyone wants and interesting plot line with unique turns.

I’ve had a few false starts with Marvel comics but finally one I loved! I loved the mystery of the main plot and the insight into Natasha’s backstory and the depth to her character, as well as the cast of characters around her. The art was beautiful, the writing was fun and poignant at times and really showcases Nat at her finest; smart, sexy and a total badass!
