4 stars.

This was another of the manga that Hayato chose for me based on my tastes and as usual, he knows me well. I had a lot of fun with this first volume and I’d be interested in continuing on! I don’t feel attached at all to the side characters yet, but I’m hoping that will come with time.

A really nice start to a what first feels like a standard slice of life. HORI-SAN AND MIYAMURA-KUN both very cute characters, but already feels like there's much more to them, especially Izumi Miyamura. Nice sweet side characters both Hori's younger brother, the friend Yuki and the male friend Tooru. REALLY liked their tripped to Kyoto, so cute.

What a cute series! I'm really enjoying it! The start has been great! Can't wait to read more!

just what i was craving! i love the characters and relationships already.

4.5 stars

I really enjoyed this manga. Except for one part toward the end which is why I'm giving the manga a 3/5 instead of a 5/5.
Spoiler
So towards the end Miyamura-kun ends up using the bath in Hori-san's room during their school trip because he didn't want the other boys seeing his tattoos in the public bath. Hori-san mentioned how she let him into her room because she didn't have to worry about him doing anything. He replied with something along the lines of 'Why not?' and to me that wasn't ok. Like she was trying to say that she felt safe in his company and that she trusted him and the way he replied make him sound SUPER suspicious and CREEPY. I think the author was trying to express that there was a possibility he could be interested in her? Or that he didn't want her to assume he wouldn't want to do sexual stuff? I think the author was trying too hard for it to be such a brief interaction that it came out bring very cringe. Also it's never ok to phrase things like that. Seriously. I'd never want to talk to someone again if they phrased things like that. That's totally not something sexy/appealing/flirty to say even if the author is trying to make it seem that way.

Not sure if I'm continuing this series after this incident at the end. I'll think about it.
