Live AHP but could tell this was written in her early days. Lots of missed opportunity for deeper analysis. But some interesting history

Meh…It wasn’t really that scandalous. The author left out a lot of key details that are present in other books in this category, that would’ve made it more interesting.
I found the book extremely boring. But, “momma didn’t raise no quitters!”; so I did finish it.

Its not the best, it's not the worst. If you are looking for a deep dive into some Hollywood scandals where the author occasionally makes you stop and ponder the sexism, racism and classism of the 1930s movie filled world then this is the book for you!
I didn't know much about this subject or era, but I found this to be a fun introduction to the darker side of Classic Hollywood. I listened to the audiobook, and it was a good companion while driving or working.
Super enjoyable, but how do you write this book without LIZ TAYLOR!!! WTF.
