Hot and kinky! This was short, but packed a punch. I loved the chemistry between the characters.

4.5 stars Short n' Kinky - I like it! I would like to know how the relationship fairs after 3 o'clock though...

The sense of mystery and the little bit of intrigue kept me glued to this story.

I wanted to understand Winter, to know more about him, to find out what was driving his behaviour and what was going to happen at 3 o'clock.

I wanted to find out more about Erik and loved the insight into his thought process and his feelings about his encounters with Winter and how he felt when he successfully followed each clue that resulted in them meeting. "The things that followed afterward were... wow. Scary, embarrassing, amazing, liberating and thrilling all at once."

Mostly I would just like to see more of these two!

I've enjoyed other stories written by Finn Marlowe, but this one just didn't work for me. I found much of the sex scenes (which is basically all this is) awkward and uncomfortable and the dialogue even more so. The writing isn't bad, but this one was not at all my cup of tea.

Oh wow. I am way late to the game with these M/M Romance group shorts, and I couldn't be happier because I get to stumble on them all the time.

This pushed several buttons for me - the anti-hero who needs to be worthy, who denies themselves happiness until that time. The miscommunication of two people who are falling for each other, both thinking the other isn't. Oh and it was freaking hot.

If I had a comment, it is that sometimes the language and phrasing were repetitive. A small criticism to such a great story though.

And surely that was the most bizarre thing of all, Erik's all-consuming need to please his dark-eyed tormentor, even if the man never got off himself during their strange encounters. Forget mystery man, I should call him my ice-man. Took Erik a while to realize the ice-man's pleasure took a different form then the physical. For some inexplicable reason, he thrilled to watching Erik get off, which for its own inexplicable reason, tripped all Erik's switches. What a twisted pair they made.
And that was just the way he liked it.

Part of the 2013 Don't Read in the Closet event, Love Has No Boundaries.
a deliciously different take, I loved the mind game element of it - the 'treasure hunt' element of the meets, the way Winter doesnt interact much. Another great read from Finn Marlow.
