Picks up where Cry for Justice left off. Great story of self destruction centered on Green Arrow and Arsenal. Pretty mature themes but a good portrayal of the aftermath of a huge event and how human the heros are. Art was superb.

A pre-52 story of the fall of Roy Harper (Red Arrow, Arsenal or the 1st Speedy). The story picks up after “Justice League: Cry for Justice”. The beginning is an emotional story as Green Arrow (Oliver “Olly” Queen) is trying to get Star City under control after Prometheus’ explosion destroyed the city. The second half of the book is Roy slowly falling apart after losing his arm & his daughter. Both parts are well written as both archers try to figure out what’s next for each other them while pushing away those closest to them.

For me this was near when I stopped reading comics & was strangely disappointed in where the took Roy Harper as a character. His progression for being just a Titan & becoming a member of the Justice League was great. I just don’t understand who decided he had to take this downward spiral.

There is some beautiful art in this book: Diogenes Neves, Mike Mayhew, Fabrizio Fiorentino, Kevin Sharpe & several more. Completely worth a read if looking for a truly emotional story.
