My Rating: 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ good short story to lead into this series.

I won’t labour on about this one because it was a super short introductory story. I haven’t read this series but I think this was a really good intro into the writing and the character.

Not a lot happens but I got a sense for the writing style of the author and I liked it. A little mystery to solve and a bit of a cliffhanger to lead into book one (maybe not sure as I haven’t read it).

It served its purpose to get me to read the first book so we shall see.

It's a very little snapshot into the Byrne/Balzano world. If only all crime could be solved in a night!
