I'm loving Whole Cake Island so far! This is the arc where the Straw Hats have felt the most conniving and it really works for me as a plot as it can get tiring to see them just fight through hordes of people. I'm starting to feel more sympathy for Sanji and like the way his character has developed, even if parts feel a bit like a rehashing of previous moments. It also seems that more of the Straw Hats are getting interesting moments: it was especially nice to see Brook and Chopper participating in a concrete way. Overall, really successful arc so far. I can't believe there are people who don't like it.
