Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be an author's assistant? What would that job really look like... and is it something that you have the skills and motivation to do? If you've ever found yourself asking these questions, Are you the Author Assistant they can't live without? is a book you will most certainly want to check out.

This is something that I have personally wondered about myself... as someone who loves books and sharing about them, is this an option that could be for me? But, as curious as I was, I wasn't sure where to start looking into this. When given the chance to check out an ARC of this book, I was really excited to learn more. And I have to say, this book really does serve as a great introduction and helped to answer several questions that I had. Anne breaks it down in a way that makes sense, sharing her personal experiences both as an author and working as an assistant herself. I think that because she has experience on both sides, this really helps to offer a fuller picture too. It gives you an idea of the type of tasks that may be required and the skills you might need to take on the role. If it's something that you decide sounds like a good fit for you, she gives you some pointers on how to get started.

It's a super quick read--- taking me under an hour from start to finish, but it's packed full of useful tips. This is a great resource for those looking into starting as an assistant, those currently working as one, and even perhaps authors who are considering hiring someone and want a little more info.

**I received an ARC for consideration. All opinions are my own.
