The title of this one is actually "What if You Had Animal Teeth?" Great primary nonfiction but no source material or bibliography, sadly!

This isn't my favorite of the series, but still thought I should mention it. I just don't think the different eyes are as "wow factoring" as noses and toes and tales and such.

What If You Had Animal Eyes? By Sandra Markle, illustrated by Howard McWilliam and published in 2017. This book was written for the age group of six to eight-year-olds. This book is about the reader exploring what would happen if they looked in a mirror and saw a pair of animal eyes instead of its own! This informative text is an immersive style where the reader must think about how the animal eyes would work for them. Allowing this book is informative and engaging to the reader as they must really think about what they have read to understand the illustrations of the children in the text who have the eyes of the animal and their new abilities. I loved this book as it does a great job of organizing the text in a variety of sizes and colors of texts to help the reader read it easily and find useful content on each animal quickly!<informational text><funny><informative><lighthearted>

These books are a nifty way to learn about animals and humans in general. The end talking about "your ears" made my heart hurt a little for children who might have hearing issues but a lot of kids will enjoy this and learn cool things. There is also information about how your balance is helped by your inner ear, which I once learned the hard way when I had a ear infection that got into the inner ear. Not that you needed to know that. You didn't need to know that. Whatever. Fun way to learn. Two thumbs up. Read the last couple of pages before giving it to a child who is deaf or has difficulty with hearing.

This wasn't bad for a third grade science class to get them thinking.
