I’m gonna give a 3.5/3.75 stars. At first I was skeptical about where this story would go but it was so much fun. It was a silly plot and yet it worked. Was the characters hella dramatic…yes! But did I love the story all the more for it?…also yes! I just loved that this book wasn’t afraid to come up with fun moments and when the author said slow burn…she meant real slow lol. I was soooo frustrated by these characters, I wanted to shake them! But I also were rooting for them. Especially Phelix, poor guy. Everytime he was down on himself, I just wanted give him a hug. Though I loved that the author added a plus size male. I just wish he was more confident. After a while, he kind of got confident. But I kind of wish he was confident from the beginning. Not arrogant with it, but just confident that he was big and attractive. But I get that that was his story arc. I also had to give a star off because of the epilogues. It low key felt like I read three epilogues which is unnecessary in my opinion. But that just might be me. I’m the kind of reader that once they are together I don’t need to know the rest lol. Overall, a hell of a fun read and I highly recommend if you want to read a poly romance with not one but two plus size/or just not skinny, characters.

I would say more of 3.75. Like I had fun but I just didn't like how long the reveal took and its conclusion especially for beings who have trust issues.
adventurous
lighthearted
I'm not really sure how to rate this one. It was good for what it was, but it wasn't a Good Book, y'know?
The ending of the book honestly made me feel a lot better about the cheesy set-up.
I would read another book by this author.

Well, Emily's done it again. I couldn't put this one down and when I had to, I was so bummed out because I just wanted it to keep going!
Eden is such a cute character. She's a human just looking to be respected by her career peers and to get laid!!
Mezli, who's from book one, might just give Paul (you have to read book one) a shot because she's curious about humans. Physically, anyway.
Phelix is nobility, but he just wants to be recognized as a friggin person! Gah!
These three make up one insane group and I love them so so so much. I didn't think I could love anyone nearly as much as I loved Maerlon and Fina, but these three are right up to par with those two.
Oh and the spice?! THE SPICE.
Thank you, Emily, for letting me read this. <3

This was a very creative space station set story, where humans have been part of the intergalactic community for a long time, though they still aren't fully integrated. The aliens were interesting and well thought out, with unique cultures and biologies, and the central romantic triad worked very well. Highly recommend for fans of space opera stories who are looking for plenty of spice.
Spicy and just plain fun romance. Listen I loved it the story is fun, and entertaining. I always love curling up with these books because it’s just straight fun.
