Thank you to Emily Antionette for sending me this ARC! I love all of her books and I was so excited to read this one!

This isn’t my favorite of hers but I absolutely really enjoyed it! I love fated mates and all that and I feel like it’s so hard to find good FFM. I was worried that someone was going to be left out but it wasn’t like that at all! The reason I’m taking a star off is because of Eden. I did really like her as a character but her whole like “they’re fated so it means more when they kiss” really got on my nerves. I also just really hate the miscommunication trope.

Wasn't a fan of the writing style. Main characters were ditsy and annoying.

What a comforting read!
This is a MFF (alien, alien, human) story full of individual and romantic growth. The chemistry between Phelix, Mezli, and Eden was palpable and so perfectly executed. The interactions were balanced, respectful, and fun!

Thank you to the author for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

First things first, in my opinion, EMILY ANTIONETTE IS ONE OF MY HANDFUL OF AUTHORS THAT CAN DO NO WRONG. I have loved every. single. book. that I’ve read and this one is no different.

This book gave me EVERYTHING. Espionage. Fated mates. ALLLLLL the tension. Brilliant but wide-eyed Dr. Eden Mori. Emotionally torn but stony facade Dr. Phrlix val Nafar. Flirt-to-cover-up-my-feelings Mezli Val Grisa. The way these three met up and then played off of each other was *chef’s kiss* because I am FERAL for tension. The mutual physical attraction and spicy verbal undertones had me silently screaming and kicking my feet. And then when IT finally happened?? Lord Nafar can GET IT. And can we talk about that hallway?! Because I lost my mind (in the best way).

Okay, okay, okay. Besides the delicious spice, I really appreciated the different aspects of family relations - running away from parents, not living up to parents’ standards, and almost being unable yo let go of your parents. Eden being the last example - her attachment to her family and how much she truly cared for them was so heart-warming. And I feel like both Mezli and Phelix were able to experience that side of love, tender and sweet, through her.

If you’ve read Space For Love, the book before this one, you’re already one up on me! However, having not read it, I was still able to easily follow along and pick up on the interconnected pieces from the previous book.

Overall, another out-of-this-world (get it?) book by the author. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
