Ugh. I'm upset with every person who rated this book highly. This book has so many things that I hated about it that I can't even start.

I'm a bit sad to say that I didn't love this book like I though I was going to. Maybe I left it way to late to pick up and read but all through out the book I was thinking, I've read this story a thousand times.

I just couldn't get into it. Some parts I enjoyed but majority I didn't. I though Jesse was to over the top for me, Ava didn't have a back bone and was dense at times that I couldn't look past. The whole story is revolved around them in the bedroom and some times a whole chapter was used to explain this, it was to much for me. The story didn't progress until the last 3 chapters so for the rest 30 chapters it's the same back and forth between the two, repetitive sentences, repetitive thoughts and I found I had to push myself to finish.

I will continue with the series because the end did leave me intrigued now that we actually have some truth coming out and substance to this story of Jesse and Ava. So can't wait to see what happeneds

OK, I read this as mindless rubbish before I went away, and since I got back. It is fairly rubbish, but that kind of rubbish where you know you are going to have to continue reading the others; partly to see how bad they are, and partly because you need to see if they can possibly improve or do something new.

A very interesting start to a mysterious man and a down to earth woman who knocks him for a loop. Not many answers are found until towards the end and some you have to wait for the rest of the books to discover. Jesse is a very alpha, possessive man determined to make Ava his if only she doesn’t see the darkness of his past he tries to keep hidden.

I can't believe I wasted my time on this.
The only thing good about this book was the sex.
The plot was kind of interesting, I guess.
But the characters? Ugh. If they were alive, I'd probably stab them.

A lot of people recommend this series after Fifty Shades, so I decided to read it. and OMG. I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. I was totally sucked into the story that I just keep wanting to know more.

The intensity, the angst, the fire, the steam...It was perfection!!! I could not get enough of Jesse Ward. He was so mysterious that I want more. At times Ava, got on my nerves, but I love Jesse too much so it doesn't matter. LOL

If you want a TRUE ALPHA, controlling, stalker hero....look no further. Lol

Pick up this trilogy!!
