An insightful read, is how I would describe the experience. The chapter describing the author's meeting and interview with the bereavement midwife left me teary-eyed.

this is not for the faint of heart. i’ve read a lot of nonfiction and parts of this still made me a little sick to my stomach. very informative and interesting but this was a tough read.
