Honestly, this book gets a 5/5 rating primarily because it doesn’t feel like anything less does it justice. Rick Riordan’s writing, storytelling, and characterization comes through once again in a fantastic fourth addition to the Heroes of Olympus series. The character dynamics and development are incredible and Rick Riordan smoothly handles switching between different storylines, locations, and even overall tone. These seven teenage demigods have my heart and I love every single one of them (and Nico, of course!!). Percabeth fans will likely be caught between crying tears of agony and tears of joy at the determination and strength demonstrated by Percy and Annabeth as they journey through Tartarus. There’s plenty of adorable moments between other couples as well, in addition to fantastic platonic relationships among the characters. With an unbeatable cast of diverse and lovable characters, a compelling story, and great writing, The House of Hades deserves nothing less than five stars.

AND I SPENT ALL NIGHT READING THE BEST BOOK EVAR
We knew every line. Now I can't remember
How it goes but I know that I won't forget IT
CAUSE I SPENT ALL NIGHT READING THE BEST BOOK EVAR
(I READ, I READ, it goes something like, yeah)

But seriously I think by the end of the book I started hating Piper seriously

I can't understand her

Her every move

And honestly I think
SpoilerPercy and Annabeth are going to end up in New Rome while Jason and Piper end up in Camp Half blood
to which my reaction will be

And obviously the whole

But other than all that I LOVED THE BOOK
