I mean it was just alright. 400+ pages and yet somehow, nothing and everything happened you know? Like so much was going on but at the same time, nothing happened. 400+ pages and yet I would say that 280+ of those pages were filler. Just yapping

I didn't like this one as much as the first. While there were definitely some cuteness factors to it with Jace and the puppy, there were some awkward parts, too. Mostly with Clark. I didn't love his character. He wasn't very romantic, and the parts that were supposed to be steamy were lackluster. It had a cute outcome, and I'm still gonna read book 3, but this isn't my favorite of the trilogy thus far.

Such a cute holiday story. The dialogue especially has me laughing out loud.

Not nearly as good as the first one, but still a lovely holiday rom-com

I’m not even sure how to properly review this because I didn’t hate it. But I didn’t love it. It’s one of those books that feels like filler before jumping into another book.

I found myself easily distracted. Nothing really caught my attention. Some parts were cute. I enjoyed the characters here and there but it was just.. meh. Took me a few days to finish because I just wasn’t invested.
