I was really hoping this book would surprise me, but unfortunately I did not like it. The ending had a twist but it didn’t blow me out of the water and the overall writing style wasn’t something I enjoyed.

I literally cried my eyeballs out. Beautiful story with beautiful characters.
I didn’t know what I should have expected before I read the book but it was definitely not that. Still a really good book. Would recommend it and reread it.
The way Candace tried to deal with her trauma is well written and just heartbreaking.

I absolutely fell for this book. It’s so devastatingly beautiful and heart-breaking. A lot of people had negative things to say about this one, but this is one of the books that took me for a ride and I was genuinely invested in the characters.
