Honestly I didn't enjoy this book very much, at all.
This book is about a girl named Belly. Every summer Belly goes to her moms friends, Susannah, house in Cousins and spends the entire summer with her brother and Conrad and Jeremiah. Conrad and Jeremiah are Suzannah's sons. For as long s Belly can remover she has been in love with Conrad and this summer "everything is different"
My first problem with this book was Belly, she was very irritating and immature and quite frankly VERY annoying. She didn't think think through and made some stupid decisions. Belly never thought things through before she said them and there were some points in the book where it was like Belly thought the world just revolved around her and it kinda made me want to slap her.
The second thing i didn't enjoy about this book was the synopsis of the book says that things change this summer however this entire book was just Belly lusting over Conrad and how she 'needed to get over Conrad' but she never did. And honestly I don't get what was so special about Conrad, he honesty was just a moody teenager, even in flashback sections it was always Jeremiah who was the nice, funny and kind one, not Conrad.
The reason I didn't give this book one star was because of the minor characters especially Susannah and Jeremiah I thought they were both very unique characters. I also liked that this book was short and easy to read plus the writing was pretty good.
Im gonna continue on with the series because I would like to find out what happens to the characters, and hopefully Belly will be a little less irritating!
