I watched the show first! Unfortunately… I hate to say it but the show is better. The book was not written well but I still enjoyed it for what it was and will read the next 2 books but the show is insanely better than the book.

belly is so immature and selfish and mean to her friends... granted she is 15, but that doesn’t give her a pass to be insufferable. also conrad is such an asshole and jeremiah is so sweet so i dont get her feelings AT ALL

2.5 stars ⭐️ this book did not live up to my expectations for it. i wasn’t a huge fan of the writing and it felt very sporadic and like we were jumping from plot point to plot point with no connection sometimes. also wished the characters had more depth, but it was super easy to fly through.
