It's has kept me invested especially now that it feels Midoriya has starting to make process with his quirks. As well as we get to see more character development from bakugo. Where the manga left us has made me want to read the next one straight away.

Found it to be alright. Funny to be how quick the first hundred pages seemed to be

The exam continues and comes to an end. It was quite a fun one, though some guys should really try to hold in their emotions a bit more. I was proud of Class 1, they got less experience but they showed they got talent.. and maybe a bit of manga magics because yeah... Just a bit disappointed about how it all ends well. I did love the various parts of the exam, that is one way to test heroes.
And next up we got a chapter from a villain's (I am guessing at least) POV. It was interesting as it showed a bit day by day life + gave info on the villains.
Next up is a chapter with All Might and lastly we got Kacchan and Midoriya chatting. Or well, Midoriya wants to chat. Kacchan just wants to fight. Geez. These two. You just got your fucking license and you want to fuck it all up? I am sorry, I just was pissed at these two.

Finishing up the licensing exam, introduction of Overhaul, and ending in Bakugo confronting Deku about his quirk.
One of the things I love the most about MHA is that it’s not afraid to have its characters experience failure. It stated with Deku, our protagonist, not winning the sports festival, something that any other story the hero def would and now we have the 3 best students competing in the exam not passing. I really love it and it allows for some great personal growth for them.
We get Twice’s backstory in this as well, he hurts my soul. Twice gives me very Deadpool vibes and I just adore him. I can’t help it, I love the league of villain characters just as much as I do our heroes, particularly Twice, Dabi, Toga, Compress, and Shiggy. ❤️
Also this volume shows how far Bakugo has come and his confession of holding so much guilt and believing he’s the reason all might lost his powers and had to subsequently retire is HEART breaking!! Bakugo may be gruff and a bit of a jerk, but his character is consistent and it’s clear how badly he wants to be a hero and in his mind being a hero is being the best, the winner. Deku embodies the exact opposite of that to him and to be not only trailing behind him now, but to figure out Deku was gifted his quirk from his greatest idol is such a gut punch. I think the fight ends up being super cathartic for him and while he and Deku will always be rivals, I think he begins to finally respect him. Also Deku looks up to and adored Bakugo SO much, always has. It’s so sad that he can’t see that and I just want the two to be friends. I don’t think they’ll ever have the relationship I dream of for them, but i hope it’ll grow into something legitimate even Bakugo will acknowledge. Gah, I just love this series so so much.

I like how this ended with promises of going deeper into the Deku/Kacchan frenemy-ship
