So cute! I ran to the library today to pick up this volume and read it as fast as the first one. I love following Nick & Charlie's adventures.

Alice Oseman writes that her aim was to write books she would have wanted to see as a teenager. It means she writes with a tenderness and love and authenticity that I’ve rarely seen before in a YA book, unafraid to write about queer teenage insecurities while managing to leave out tragedy and drama to a perfect extent.

I cried. This was a fantastic book, especially to read after having several coming outs recently.

I am in love. Heartstopper is one of those queer staples and it’s understandable why. This one is absolutely not as strong as the first one but I believe that’s because it’s more of a continuation and follows Nicks coming out meaning it exists on a smaller scope. That being said it’s still brilliant.
I love the characters and the art and the writing.
