4.5 stars! This was hot. Josh is toxic. Who gives a shit about a painting. I’m actually surprised at how much I enjoyed this.

The dark and engrossing literary masterpiece "Twisted Hate" by Ana Huang made an everlasting impression on me. The two main characters, Josh and Jules, experience a twisted and hauntingly beautiful collision in this suspenseful book that transports readers on a turbulent journey. I immediately became engrossed in Josh and Jules' lives after turning the first page. Their nuanced personalities, flaws, and emotional reaches they went to resonated with me profoundly. They were more relatable and compelling because I recognized parts of myself in their struggles and frailties.

I couldn't help but feel a strong connection to Josh and Jules as I followed the complex plot. Their tense and longing relationship made me feel something. In many ways, Jules—with her complexity and vulnerability—became my ideal. She was going through a lot, and I could relate to that. I became emotionally invested in their journey as a result of the depth of their connection, which tugged at my heartstrings. Also, their bickering and how Jules smashed that guy's nose had me laughing to lmao

The honest portrayal of strong emotions throughout "Twisted Hate" really got to me, especially when Josh and Jules were having to deal with difficult situations. I was moved to such a deep response by the pain and despair they were going through that I almost started crying. My heart was moved by the intensity of their suffering and the tenacity they showed, which served as a reminder of the strength of the human spirit and the influence of love. Huang is a master at telling stories. Her story's eerie beauty and the vivid way she portrayed her characters sucked me right into their world. I couldn't put the book down until the very last page because of the story's flawless pacing, which alternated between moments of intense suspense and emotional depth.

In conclusion, "Twisted Hate" is a remarkable book that examines the depths of human emotions and the effects of hatred through the intertwined destinies of Josh and Jules. This book was an unforgettable experience thanks to Ana Huang's masterful storytelling and my deep connection with these characters. Twisted Hate's dark beauty, compelling characters, and ability to profoundly touch my heart forced me to give it a resounding 5 out of 5 stars.

My favorite in the series so far. Jules and Josh. Enemies to lovers. Friends with benefits gone wrong. Banter was alright and Josh wasn't just another grumpy/icy/grooding alpha male.

3 stars cos they always compare jules to Jessica rabbit and describe her as a succubus or a femme fatale yet she did none of that in the sack. I really hoped there was at least one scene where SHE has HIM whimpering but for whatever reason all the female characters in this series are a bunch of subs and it's very boring in that way.

Another star removed cos of what Josh did after Jule's the confession...

4,5* - mochte ich mehr als Twisted Games, auch wenn die Biografien der beiden schon sehr konstruiert wirkten. Was ist das für ein krasser Freundeskreis bitte?

This just was not my cup of tea.
I didn’t love the two main characters dynamic.
There was a little too much hate there to begin with to make their relationship not seem comparable or even believable.
