Like a thin slice of flour less chocolate cake; quickly devoured, rich, complex, and satisfying

Interesting, nice twist. I love the mystery to the ending. My only gripe is
that the narrator goes with this boy's plan as if she isn't kidnapping a child? I also don't like that she thinks about how she can capitalize on him as if she is running the show. This kid told her the plan, he is obviously in charge. Wonder if she gets murdered.

It's for the birds

I really liked Gone Girl and so I wanted to read more from Gillian Flynn, decided to read this one first since it's so short.

This was good, not quite to the same degree as Gone Girl but still.
If I had to say negatives they would mostly be minor things but I think the ending was a little underwhelming in some way.
I mean, it wasn't the worst, but I think it could've used a little bit more work.

Overall I enjoyed this story though and I read it in one sitting.

I'm definitely interested in reading her other books aswell!
fast-paced

Not at all what I was expecting.

A funny, but also very weird, short story.
