I recently read and loved Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn and wanted to read more by her. This is a very short novella but my god it packs a punch. The main character is a woman who has lived her life by frauding people with her mother or by giving hand jobs to men in the back of a psychics office. She starts "reading" people due to her previous work causing a medical issue. One of her clients is a woman named Susan who needs her help. Thinking that this would be a good start to expanding her workload she offers to cleanse her house and help her for a cost. This is only 64 pages but it definitely delivers and I loved it. Well done indeed.
Not the greatest of stories from Gillian Flynn. It has the same lewdness as most of the author's stories and it was fun to read, but it lacked the quality of Flynn's usual writing. I'd still check it out, but don't expect greatness.
Super short book that was great, but had literally one of the worst endings to a book ever.
