This was a fun quick read. I loved how it started and I enjoyed the twists that are always present in Gillian Flynn's books. Perfect vacation read.

The look on my face had to be priceless when the narrator began, what the heck kind of story is this? I have to admit at the start I was perplexed when the occupation is exposed, one I would never dream of in a million years...or ever. I had my doubts but I always finish my reads so I persevered. In this short story, once again I am blown away with all the twists and turns. The author restored my faith in her writing by the end of the story. I have yet to like her characters in any of her work, they are not the sort of people you would want to know or become friends with. This was a extremely dark read but the author pulled it off brilliantly.
