This book, or rather, short story, had an interesting premise but the pacing was off. While it started off suspenseful and intriguing, the ending felt rushed and unsatisfying.

It’s exactly what you want out of a short story thriller
I love Gillian Flynn's novels... this is a short story, but it's bound like a book so I'm counting it. It feels like she just wrote it to write it. The beginning was eh. The middle was great. The ending was eh. But I read it in 30 minutes... so that's a plus.
I'd only really recommend this if you happen to be gifted a copy like I was. I would give it a 2 if it weren't for the middle 30 pages. The 10 on each end are not great.
