Iraqi refugees talk about their experiences - gives an important perspective on how the lives of so many innocent people have been affected by the war in Iraq. The words of these children are powerful:
"People watch war in the movies and they think they know what it's like. They don't know. If they knew, they wouldn't allow it to happen." A book to share with many.

Very informative yet terribly sad. It was interesting to see the war from a child's perspective. It makes me look at our students in a different light - this should be a must read for anyone involved in the Iraq war.

This book gave a very different perspective on the war in Iraq. A very honest look at the war from the eyes of children.
