The crazy titles of these books is what lead me to buying the audiobook of the first one. I love mysteries but don’t love psychic books so imagine my surprise when I started Book 1 without reading anything about it, lol. I loved the narrator and had planned on buying all the audiobooks but with the recent death of the narrator, I decided I’d better just read the series. This series is fun with great mysteries. I love the characters and can’t wait to move on to the next one.

The follow up to the first in this series is just as strong if not stronger than the first. Jon and Donovan's relationship has continued to grow and progress while they both figure out what it means for Donovan to be Jon's anchor. The new characters that are introduced are amazing, life like, and so perfect to the current characters. The story line is fascinating, interesting, and so full that you want just one more chapter. I cannot wait for more of this series.
As a side note, the author's description of the traffic in Nashville is on point and so true that I found myself nodding and laughing in agreement. Even this morning as I drove into work in downtown Nashville, I had Jon's comments running through my head and had to laugh at how accurate it is.
