Was fun but a little slow. I thought the overall resolution was a little weak.

4.25 ⭐️ only reason this isn’t higher is because I thought the main character (Finlay) was really quite stupid at times and it was very frustrating. Also I didn’t quite get that 5 star feeling. But you can bet I’m running to the bookstore right now to grab the next one!

A murder mystery comedy book? Sign me up. Through a comedy of errors, a recently divorced author finds herself offered a job as a hit woman and becomes acquainted with the mafia. This was a solid story that has me ready for the sequel.

LOVED IT. So funny, charming, and silly. The characters are all so distinct but lovable and I couldn’t put this book down because I needed to know what was going to happen next to them. A murder-comedy that had been hooked from the beginning. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!!
