I don't even have words to express how good Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister was. Ten out of five stars, easy. I almost DNF'd it during the first hour or so of the audiobook, and I am so glad I didn't. Wrong Place Wrong Time is a speculative fiction, sort of mystery/thriller novel about Jen, the mother of barely-18-year-old Todd. She's waiting up for him the night before Halloween when, from the window, she watches her sweet kid stab a stranger. She falls asleep, despairing, and...
Wakes up the day before.
We follow Jen going further and further backward in time as she tries to figure out the catalyst. What's going to set off the chain reaction that ends in Todd committing murder? The story twists and twists again and it's just incredible and the ending. Wow. Wow wow wow.
Like I mentioned before, the fist few chapters kind of put me off. For a day or two as she starts going back in time, we go through sort of the same thing over and over as she realizes what's happening. I'm so glad my mom convinced me to keep reading, though, because I am still in awe. I have been thinking about it on and off since finishing it almost a month ago. I need a thesaurus to express how much I loved this book, I think. Another 5/5 for me.

Loved it. Only complain...really annoyed me when Jen said the same word three times in a row. Other than that, awesome story! Finished in 3 days.
