Tate James is an auto buy author for me so glad to get a new series from here
I started off not enjoying this and wanting to DNF but that was a me problem rather than the books. I was a bit burnt out so probably wasn’t ideal starting another series but once i dedicated time to reading it i started to enjoy it.
The plot was intriguing and the cliffhangers in certain chapters kept me turning the pages and then that final page left me questioning everything i read.
Nate has got to be one of the most annoying and infuriating characters i’ve ever read! Royce was a hoot and i really enjoyed his character. Carter is a stuck up rich boy and Heath is a sweetheart.

So, I‘ve noticed this book in a dark academia list. Spoiler (or not) this book has nothing to do with dark academia genre. It‘s a why choose romance set in college. And even if this wasn‘t what I expected it to be, i‘ve read the whole book anyway. Going to stick for the series.
