Thoroughly enjoyed it!! The only reason why I didn’t give it a perfect score is because a good chunk of the plot was focused on a miscommunication conflict, which I don’t particularly enjoy. But other than that, I loved them. It was very fluffy, and cute, fantastic banter between all characters. I wouldn’t say it changed something in my life, but I’ve learned to see few things in a new perspective. 

Also, I wish the resolution he got with his father was more impactful. For the pain and the depth of their broken relationship, they needed more than a 3 pages conversation in my opinion. Other than that, well written. The flow was great. Not too fast or too slow. The flashbacks were also great. Could definitely read it again and absolutely recommend it if you like love, black love and very warm, shy, gentle MMC.

This was um…the writing was good but i think the plot was lacking in some ways. There were too many times I thought “this is so unnecessary” and just kept pushing because I wanted to see how it would end. Well i saw it. Personally i was underwhelmed and very annoyed there was no epilogue since over 80% of the book was a slow burn that didn’t have much spark in my opinion.

Throughly enjoyed the second book more than I did the first. A Legend in the Baking has a great balance of romance, spice, and banter.
