Read this book. Read it now. It is phenomenal. I can't remember the last time I felt such an array of emotions at once while reading a book. There is so much depth to each of the characters. The story flows beautifully. Everything in this book is perfect.

I enjoyed getting to hear this story from the point of a child, and found myself relating to Elsa in many ways. Backman again with fabulous storytelling.

This book is so quirky, heartwarming, sad and loving. I recently saw one of Fredrik Backman’s other books on a list of great books, and found this at a thrift store. I highly recommend this book! I think you’ll be glad you read it. The grandma character is the best. I feel we are all like her from time fo time, but also like the other characters too.
