Sexy, smart, funny; this is chicklit gold. Poppy has toughed it out as a single mom for nine years after her high school sweetheart said he was too young to be a dad. She had the kid in secret and has moved on with her life. That is until she runs into him at the nightclub she works at. When she hired on two years ago she was told that the city's NFL team never came in - well it looks as if that streak ended and now she has to deal with her football god baby daddy. He's sexy, famous, and a millionaire too boot, plus he still loves her! After ten years! The only thing is - he doesn't even know that he has a kid. What can go wrong? Cheesy, wonderful, and all around great. This second book in the Playbook series is just as good as the first one. I can't wait to get to the 3rd!

Do you know the feeling where you drop whatever book you’re reading or thing you’re doing to continue a series you’re addicted to? Well the Playbook Series sucked me in!!! Stay up til all hours of the night? ✔️Stop reading another book halfway through as this library loan came up? ✔️ Shout it from the rooftops how much you love TK, Poppy, all the drama and romance!? ✔️✔️✔️

I really enjoyed this funny, sexy and smart second chance at love/football story about single mom Poppy and TK, the professional football player who unknowingly knocked her up in high school.

Poppy and TK are thrown back together one night when TK and his teammates show up at her workplace. Feeling obligated to let TK know about his son, the two have to figure out what their family is going to look like going forward.

Another great addition to Alexa Martin’s Denver Playbook series. This book focused on love, single motherhood AND the dangerous nature of head injuries suffered by football players and the resulting side effects. Great on audio and highly recommended. My only complaint was that the story was only from Poppy’s POV.

God, this book was a breath of fresh air. I have been in such a book slump due to life right now BUT this book brought me back to life! I have had a fetish with football books recently and this book hit it on the head! I absolutely adored this book it was funny, sexy, and adorable! It made me laugh so hard but also made me shed a tear or two and those are my favorite kind of books! Alexa Martin is definitely going to be a new favorite of mine and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series! Great read 100% recommend if you need a good laugh / some fun in your life right now like I did.
