Very good but, like most second books in a trilogy, was mainly setting up for events to come. Quick read and still fast paced and action packed. Moved the story along in good and interesting ways. Excited to read the conclusion.

OK, Pines was so good that I'm on to the second book in the series.
As I expected, this second book was outstanding and maybe even terrifying than the first.

I didn’t love this book as much as Pines, and it was a little harder for me to get into, but it definitely picked up and I still had a good time. Blake Crouch really is a great writer. He added a lot more storylines and character stories but it did not detract from the original.
