It is just so easy to breeze through this series. The plot/story is addicting and this second book added a lot more dimension to the characters/post-modern world that we are continuing to get to know. When reading about the town of Wayward Pines, there is simply an effect it has on you as a reader that is so…uncanny? I like that feeling when intaking all forms of media. There are moments of dialogue that I do think could have been done a bit better, in comparison to later Crouch novels, but I don’t think that it takes away from the main goal of this plot-driven book. I am really excited to start the final book! Although…I can already feel the hole that will be left in me after finishing.
