First story involved Joker 🃏 making a lot of heist by using newspaper wanted ad and organizing clever set ups that would hamper Batman and cops in their pursuit. There was an attempted murder of Robin and Batman losing his shit to almost beat Joker to a pulp . It was a clever tale which was apt for its time , if not all that well thought out . 3.5/5

The 2nd tale involved a DA who was helped and saved by a goon in his past , but now that the goon is caught he expects privileges from the DA , this story had a lot of promise , with the DA's duty and his friendship on the line , the story also shows both The DA and the goon in good light , but having morally grey characters and plot was not a theme for the time period and ergo we had a cheap ending which ended with a moral lessons for the kid that they should think hard about their life choices 4/5

The third tale was a proper Batman tale where he finds and rescues an innocent man from the gallows when the man is tried in court for a crime he never committed , this was hilarious as the crime was obvious to spot but it was cheesy and goofy to make it funny when it didnt actually want to be , again the time of the publishing plays a part 3.5/5

The final tale involved Penguin , and meh the scheme by penguin here is plain silly and implausible even for its time . Decent action sequences but same old Bats saved by a dame routine 2.5/5
