Oh. My. God.
Not only did this book move quickly, but it kept me hooked from start to finish. Plus... I feel like my brain was exploding by the time I finished this book, putting all of the pieces together and seeing how it all played out.
4.5 stars

- I really love getting the perspectives of each of the three sisters. Each on brought a very unique perspective to their upbringing in the foster home and it helped keep each chapter new and fresh.
- The twists were TWISTING - even when you sort of put things together, the way things are unveiled is brilliant and reveals even more than you thought.
- The child abuse represented in the flashbacks is very intense and dark, but it sets the tone well to allow the reader to understand just how malicious the situation was
- I appreciate that the characters had depth - they all had their own individual lives as adults with their own issues to work through

That ending though! 😱 This book was very heavy but so so good.
I guessed very quickly that the therapy sessions were Miss Fairchild but I did not at all suspect that she was fabricating her story. I loved that the sisters all got their happy endings because they felt very much deserved.
This book is twisty and gripped me right from the start!

Character flaws caused by a chaotic upbringing in the foster care system.   The scenarios in this book may seem to be far-fetched but unfortunately they are not.  The whole system needs an overhaul because there are far too many kids with psychological damage from the foster care system

This book was honestly so good. I loved the pacing, and I couldn’t put it down because there was something new or mysterious in every other chapter. I loved the difference in perspectives to tell the same story and drive home the realtionship with the sisters. And the chapters with dr Warren kept me guessing for awhile!

I would have given this book 5 stars if it were not for some sad/gruesome themes that played out.

Overall such a good read.
