It was so, so sad, but such a quality story. Some of the most fleshed out characters I've seen in awhile, & the ending is just so perfect. It's worth the sadness and the drama and the awfulness to see her come out the other side better.

I loved this story immediately for nailing the complicated feelings of long-term friendship, unrequited love, and grief. Even if the plot and characters were dull (which I didn’t think they were), the dialogue and relationships would carry it through. Immediately seeking out more of her work!
