I feel like there were a lot of missed opportunities in this book. While I loved the added plot (Hades interacting with all the other gods), I felt that his character wasn't explored very well. After reading this book I know the exact same amount of information about him as I did from Persephone's POV (except even she couldn't guess how sex-obsessed his thoughts were).
I would have loved for this book to be another 100 pages longer, but be more focused on Hades flashing back to memories of different times in his life/history and learning more about who he was before he met Persephone. (And maybe we could do with a few less repetitive sex scenes? I mean, we get it. After the first 4 times they do it the readers understand that he has preferences. We don't need to read the exact same sloppy line 50 times over. I absolutely love spice in my books, but by the end of this one I was skipping paragraphs).
All that being said, the ending was open enough to keep me interested in reading the next one.

This was fucking phenomenal I love reading men written by woman and to have Hades POV is just awesome!
I am obsessed with this series and I am suddenly so invested in Hephaestus and Aphrodite

The only reason i didn’t give this 4 stars is because i already knew the story, i would definitely love to read this in tandem with a touch of darkness next time!
