Though I didn’t love this as much as Darius The Great is Not Okay, and its companion novel, Darius the Great Deserves Better, I still enjoyed it nonetheless!

I'm torn on this one. The deaf/hoh rep was eye-opening and something i hadn't read before. I likes how I got to experience just a bit of what Jackson did by only catching certain words and having to guess at the rest. I enjoyed certain parts, but 3rd act conflict was so predictable and I was frustrated with Jackson as I waited for the shoe to drop. The banter was funny, the characters were pretty sweet, but Jasmine's teenaged drama made me roll my eyes so hard. And Jackson was so clueless! Then there's the insta-love that pulled me right out of the story. This one just wasn't for me.
