I LOVE this book. I love the old-school botanical prints and how big it is. Definitely buying this for myself.

I'd give this book 3.5 stars because I think it is a little better than Historium in its writing style and there is more elaboration on the various species of plants etc. The illustrations are equally as beautiful as in Historium, but I think that various unique page layouts also nudged it ahead.

Great book about plants for children or adults. Beautiful illustrations and interesting information about each plant, including its role with humans through history. If you think you might not want to read about plants, think again. The ingenuity of the world's plants is inspiring.
