Second read: The first time I read this book it was my favorite of the series, because I was EmoTM and loved to read about depressed characters, and now it is once again my favorite, but for a very different reason. I cannot tolerate Edward or Bella's view of Edward, and so this book, in which he appears relatively little, was a breath of fresh air. Jacob is also a character that I feel really passionate about, less because I love him (though I think he is my favorite character of the series--I will say, the competition is. Not amazing) but because of how maligned he is by Twilight fans, casual or otherwise. Anyway, I maintain that someone should have insisted that Bella see a therapist.

I know some people have given this book negative reviews I honestly haven’t wrote a reviews for books but I just wanted maybe one person looking through reviews that wanted to read this series and saw the reviews of this book and shied away from it to know that yeah this book is slow but it also holds so much meaning in it this book hold so much heartbreak and as humans we’ve all been through heartbreak whether it was someone that we loved greatly that left us and we were shattered and unable to be ourselves for months on end barely wanting to take care of ourselves or whether that heartbreak we went through was the death of somebody that held a deep place in our hearts because when we lose somebody it’s like a piece of us is taken with them and all we are left with is that hole that no matter what we do can’t be filled now that’s the hole bella is dealing with yes it’s slow paced and yes it’s cringy in different places but you know what bella went through a great pain no matter how long they knew eachother it was irrelevant because some love doesn’t matter on how long you knew them you just loved them and that’s the kind of love we all want at least it’s the love I want but she went through a heartbreak she fell apart and in my opinion Stephanie did a great job at capturing just how real that depressive state is afterwards Bella was living day by day hurting aching and not herself she was struggling but when she had Jake it made up for it all like that one friend we all have that we have that is by our side when things go tough this book is hard but it’s easy to relate to and I want one reader to see this because I can tell you if you’ve been through either this book hits home you know how she feels and you feel not even for her but with her this book will make you laugh cry cringe and maybe even angry but the love this book holds is amazing so don’t shy away give it a shot because as I see it this book shows for me that at the end of the day no matter who we lose in relationships or death we all have family or friends that love us and want to see us shine and that’s what matters I hope this helps maybe not but I love this book I didn’t use to but now I do after losing family members and going through a heart break all almost back to back and I felt for Bella and now this book holds a place closer to my heart than some other books have because for once I can feel what bella felt that’s all

Es más duro que la primera parte, pero aún así me ha gustado mucho. Vemos a una Bella que va madurando y que sufre mucho, aunque no me gusta su comportamiento con Jacob, creo que lo utiliza para sentirse bien.
